Sundown Studios was tapped to create and install Nike’s 2nd annual HBCU collaboration for Nike Yardrunners. The initiative continues to be a catalyst for empowering the community of HBCU creatives. During homecoming season, it’s important to celebrate the history, heritage and future of HBCU attendees and alums.
At the iconic Nike SOHO innovation retail store, shoppers could browse through custom locker displays featuring 8 different HBCUs and their athletes. The design goal was to create displays that convey the rich history of the HBCUs while prominently featuring each athlete but in a sleek ‘Nike’ aesthetic.
